“During my internship at Nourishing Bethesda, I’ve had the opportunity to help at the choice market, assist with gleaning food products, and talk with clients to ensure they feel welcomed. I also contribute to projects aimed at improving the client experience and helping the organization serve more people in an efficient way. I enjoy working with the staff and other volunteers, who make the environment energetic and fun! This internship has been meaningful because it allows me to connect directly with community members and strengthen programs that provide accessible food resources.”
