2025
Summer
Internship
Program

Each year, Nourishing Bethesda offers structured internships for high school and college students in the field of food insecurity. Students can expect to learn about all aspects of non-profit work, including logistics, food sourcing, food recovery, food drives, and management. In addition, interns will become conversant with the politics and impact of food insecurity in Montgomery County.

I enjoyed interning at Nourishing Bethesda this summer because I learned vital communication skills interacting with clients and my fellow interns!
— Audrey, 2024 Summer Intern

Interns will be expected to commit to three weeks of volunteerism before or after their allotted internship dates.

This year, interns may apply for positions in one of two sessions:

• June 23rd-July 21st, 2025

• July 22nd-August 19th, 2025

Interns will be eligible to count their hours toward SSL requirements. These are unpaid positions.
